International Overdose Awareness Day

International Overdose Awareness Day is observed annually to raise awareness about overdose, reduce the stigma of drug-related deaths, and acknowledge the grief felt by families and friends, remembering those who have died or experienced permanent injury due to drug overdose. This global event aims to spread the message that overdose death is preventable and to inspire action and discussion about evidence-based treatment, strategies, and policies.

Join us on August 29, 2024, at the Multi Service Center, located at 1301 W 12th St, Long Beach, CA 90813, from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM.
