This training focuses on the cultural competency of the LGBTQI2-S community through working definitions and terms, lifestyle challenges and barriers, history, and current issues. By the end of this training participants will be able to:

• Define sexuality, gender expression, and gender identity

• Comfortably engage in therapy/counseling to clients/patients who identify within the LGBTQIA community

• Utilize self-managing techniques to provide client-centered care
