The Los Angeles Centers for Alcohol & Drug Abuse (L.A. CADA) offers the County of Los Angeles’ most robust and complete continuum of care for adults (18 and over) with substance use and / or co-occurring disorders. In admiration to the Allen House and Serenity House Residential programs, we also offer dedicated LGBTQIA2S+ Services at Outpatient, Intensive Outpatient and Recovery Maintenance levels of care from 305 S. Central Avenue, in Downtown Los Angeles.
A multi-disciplinary team of clinicians, counselors, peer support specialists and care coordinators, provide patient-centered, recovery-oriented, trauma-informed and culturally competent treatment services, in both English and Spanish, to our community. L.A. CADA believes substance misuse is caused or exacerbated by underlying issues of untreated physical or emotional pain, trauma, or mental health issues.
We provide holistic, compassionate, non-judgmental care, coupled with comprehensive care coordination that focuses on linkage to critical healthy living services, from affirming providers who honor the authentic needs and desires of those we serve.
In addition to treatment, our LGBTQIA2S+ services include:
